Dr. Jonathan Choi laeds a delegation of the Alliance to Foshan 2024 Foshan-ASEAN Economic and Trade Matchmaking Conference is held.

From November 2 to 3, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance and the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, led representatives of the Alliance to visit Foshan and attended the 2024 Foshan-ASEAN Economic and Trade Matchmaking Conference. During the visit, Mr. Tang Yifeng, Secretary of the Foshan Municipal Party Committee, met with Dr. Choi and the delegation, while Mayor Bai Tao attended the conference and delivered a speech.

At the matchmaking conference, over 50 Foshan enterprises with overseas expansion ambitions engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives from the GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance, focusing on key sectors and industries for entering the ASEAN market.

Dr. Choi stated that Foshan is a vital hub and a major manufacturing base in the Greater Bay Area , with strong complementary advantages with ASEAN markets. The Alliance will fully leverage its role as a bridge to assist Foshan enterprises in expanding overseas. Dr. Choi also welcomed Foshan entrepreneurs to join the Alliance to jointly explore new cooperation models and market growth opportunities.
