On December 18, the GBA Entrepreneur Union organized the "Finance, Technology, Innovation and Industrial Integration of the GBA" Summit Forum at the Fisherman's Wharf Convention and Exhibition Center in Macao, to celebrate the 24th anniversary of the return of the Macao Special Administrative Region and the 6th anniversary of the establishment of the GBA Entrepreneur Union .Mr.Edmund Ho Hau-wah, Vice Chairman of CPPCC, officiated at the ceremony. Mr. He Yicheng, Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Mr. John Lee, Chief Executive of HKSAR and Mr. Zhang Xin, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province delivered video messages. Mr. Huang Liuquan, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, Mr. Li Weinong, Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Mr. Huang Zhihao, Mayor of Zhuhai and Mr. Xiao Zhanxin, Mayor of Zhongshan also attended the event with 300 business representatives from Macao, Hong Kong, the GBA and the Mainland.
Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC and Chairman of GBA Entrepreneur Union, said "In the past six years, with the care and support of relevant central departments and the governments of the the Guangdong-HK-Macao, the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union has braved the wind and waves together with all sectors of the GBA to forge ahead. The holding of the first Forum in Macao clearly reflects that Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao have stepped out of the shadow of the epidemic, are rapidly revitalizing, speeding up the full integration of the Bay Area, and living up to the trust of the Central Authorities to build a world-class Bay Area.
During the forum, GBA Entrepreneur Union also held the Law Committee recruitment ceremony.
