Beijing Municipal Party Secretary meets with Dr. Jonathan Choi.

On the morning of January 10, Mr. Yin Li, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Beijing Municipal Party Secretary, met with Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the CGCC, GBA Entrepreneur Union and Sunwah Group, with the delegation at the Municipal Committee building.

The GBA Entrepreneur Union holds the 6th anniversary celebration and the "Finance, Technology, Innovation and Industrial Integration in the GBA" Summit Forum in Macao.

Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC and Chairman of GBA Entrepreneur Union, said "In the past six years, with the care and support of relevant central departments and the governments of the the Guangdong-HK-Macao, the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union has braved the wind and waves together with all sectors of the GBA to forge ahead. The holding of the first Forum in Macao clearly reflects that Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao have stepped out of the shadow of the epidemic, are rapidly revitalizing, speeding up the full integration of the Bay Area, and living up to the trust of the Central Authorities to build a world-class Bay Area.

Dr. Jonathan Choi leads a delegation to visit the UAE again to tap the potential of cooperation between the GBA and the Middle East Gulf.

The "Belt and Road 10th Anniversary Greater Bay Area and Gulf Economic Cooperation Forum" was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on December 20. Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC and Chairman of Sunwah Group, attended the ceremony as the guest of honor.In the speech, Dr.Choi stressed the importance of the Middle East region in promoting the cooperation construction of the "Belt and Road", pointing out that the cooperation between China and Middle East countries has been deepening in the past ten years.

Dr.Choi and other participants held a dialogue on the theme "Potential for Economic Cooperation between the GBA and the Gulf Region in the Middle East". He also attended the inauguration ceremony of the UAE Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and visited the Chinese Embassy in the UAE and the Department of International Investment in Sharjah, UAE.
