ReturnOn the morning of January 10, Mr. Yin Li, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Beijing Municipal Party Secretary, met with Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the CGCC, GBA Entrepreneur Union and Sunwah Group, with the delegation at the Municipal Committee building.
Mr. Yin Li hoped that CGCC would give full play to the advantages of the Chamber of Commerce in connecting the international market, build more exchanges and cooperation platforms, actively promote Beijing, and encourage more high-quality enterprises and high-end talents to invest in Beijing. Beijing will continue to improve the business environment, support Hong Kong-funded enterprises, including members of CGCC, and Chinese enterprises to develop in Beijing, and provide more convenience for Hong Kong compatriots in Beijing.
Dr. Choi highly praised the achievements of Beijing's economic and social development and the rapid changes of the city's sub-center. He said that CGCC will play a better role as a bridge, build a more efficient platform for cooperation and exchange, promote the deepening of cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong in the fields of finance, science and technology, cultural tourism and modern service industry, and support more Hong Kong enterprises and young talents to come to Beijing for innovation and entrepreneurship.
