On January 7, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance, the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and Sunwah Group, led a delegation to visit the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangdong. Dr. Choi held discussions with Mr. Chen Xiaofeng, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of CCPIT Guangdong. Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on jointly participating in the development of the Greater Bay Area, exploring the ASEAN market, and promoting high-level international cooperation for enterprises.

During an inspection visit to Chongqing, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce(CGCC), the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance and Sunwah Group, held discussions on December 27 with Mr. Shang Kui, Standing Committee Member of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, as well as Mr. Shi Chonggang, Party Secretary of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce.

Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance and Sunwah Group, was awarded the "Outstanding Contribution Leader of the Greater Bay Area" accolade at the "5th GBA Development Forum." The award recognizes his years of dedication and contributions to the development of the GBA. The honor was presented by Mr. John Lee, Chief Executive of HKSAR, and Mr.Zheng Yongnan, General Manager of Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group.

On November 30, the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance grandly held its 7th-anniversary celebration series, "Greater Bay Area Night & Outstanding ESG Performance Commendation Ceremony," at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. In a video speech, Mr. John Lee, Chief Executive of HKSAR, expressed his hopes that the Alliance could build on past achievements and reach new heights. He stated that Hong Kong will fully support green enterprises and projects in the Greater Bay Area, and provide green and sustainable financing, investment, and certification services.
